Black Loose Leaf Tea 50g

from $9.00

Black Loose Leaf Tea by TotaliTEA, Chestermere

Canadian Breakfast: Malty and full-bodied with hints of floral flavour with just a touch of oakiness. The perfect breakfast tea for us Canucks!

Maple Cream: A full bodied black tea with rich creamy maple flavour, sweet without being overly so. Makes a nice Canadian gift.

Earl Grey Bold: This rendition of classic earl grey has extra Bergamot essence. This malty tea makes a lively cup indeed!

Black Bear’s Breakfast: This black tea is loaded with berries that our forest friends love.  Perfect as an iced tea.

Vanilla Chai: When brewed this full-bodied tea produces a spicy cup with a creamy vanilla flavour. Superb with milk and sugar.

—————————

Black tea, or red tea in China, is one of the most popular tea flavours and is fully oxidized. The leaves of the Camellia sinensis plant are withered, rolled, oxidized, and dried or fired to produce a strong, full-bodied flavour. Assam, Darjeeling, Nilgiri, and Sri Lanka are a few well-known black tea-producing regions, and the flavour will vary based on the region and type of black tea. It has the most caffeine of all the different tea types.

Flavour Profile of Black Tea: malty, full-bodied, strong
